Marco Matassoni was born and lives in Rovereto (Italy). He graduated in Electronic Engineering at University of Padua in 1995 with a thesis on microphone arrays. He joined ITC-IRST in 1996 where he has been working in the Speech Recognition Group. Currently he is a researcher of the SpeechTeK group. His main fields of research are speech enhancement, distant-talking speech recognition, hands-free interaction, speaker identification. He participated in several European projects: SpeechDat-Car/Vodis, VICO, HIWIRE, DICIT, DIRHA.
